I know that very likely nobody will read this, but right now I don’t give a fuck. I am writing this for myself.

Throughout my life, I have always related the number two shirt in football to the central defender (even though that jersey is traditionally worn by the right back) and you were the reason why. You were the captain of my team. You will forever be our number two.

The memories I have of you leading our team from the back with your unmatched strength are likely the reason the number two is my favorite number. Whenever possible, I have always worn the number two. When playing football, futsal, or handball, you were always my inspiration on the field.

Less than an hour ago the person that has been one of my biggest muses on the field has left us. He was too young to leave us behind. It’s not fair.
